WOW! Hoyosun Long Lasting Lip Colour Review – Tutorial

WOW! In Cherry Red

If you are anything like me, lipstick, lipgloss or lipstain does not last past lunch time. Now its either me and I’m licking my lips too much (probably) or eating and drinking too much (most definitely) for the average lip product OR they just don’t do what they say they do and LAST!

For a long time I’ve been looking for a lip stain that I could put on in the morning and that would last until the evening. I just wanted to smack it on and look lip smacking good all day without me having to think twice about it! And I have finally found the one! Eeeek!

The only down side I guess is that the colour is a diluted version of the colour on the packaging – but hey – it works!

Let me show you how…

Step 1.

You just have to pop this gel-like product onto your lips like you would any other lip balm/lipstick. The consistency is quite thick, which I don’t like as its more difficult to spread evenly – however that’s pretty much the only complaint I have.

Step 2.

Once you’ve got your lips covered, you can get on with the rest of your make up whilst you leave this on for 10 minutes or when its dry.

*Tip: either keep your mouth open the whole time or if you close it, keep it closed! If you close your mouth for a little bit your lips with ‘fuse’ together and if you open it, it will tear off the gel before its had chance to do its job!

Step 3.

When the gel is dry, it will peel off just like a face mask would!

Step 4. (optional)

I find that the edges of my lips aren’t so well covered/defined with this lip stain – so I use a soft red lip liner (I’ve used Rimmel) to line my lips. So it’s not so blunt, I use my finger to pull (smudge) in the colour from the lip line to the centre of my lip.

And that’s it! You’re done!
